Life's transitions can leave you feeling lost, overwhelmed, or disconnected from who God created you to be. Therapy will help you work through grief and loss, singleness, family dynamics, empty-nest adjustments, and questions of identity so you can move forward with confidence, clarity, and faith.
Experiencing feelings of anxiety, stress, and depression are a normal and valid part of life. However, you are not meant to live there everyday. You can experience freedom, healing, and learn to grab onto hope and joy in this life.
"Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus," Phillipians 4:6-7.
This does not mean we're never supposed to worry or feel depressed, but when we do, where does our focus go? Does it turn inward on ourselves or do our eyes turn to Jesus, the author and perfector of our faith? (Hebrews 12:2)
Our help comes from the Lord who always watches over us (Psalm 121). Do we believe we should be able to figure things out on our own or do we really believe that God is always there and longs to be there in our time of need?
"And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus," Philippians 4:19.
Christian counseling walks alongside you as you navigate life's challenges, helping you uncover the thoughts, patterns, and wounds that may be keeping you stuck while gently pointing you back to the truth of God's love and His purpose for your life. Together, we'll seek practical growth while keeping our eyes on the hope and joy that is found in Christ that leads us to healing and freedom.

After surviving the tragic & unexpected loss of my husband in 2013, moving through my own journey of suffering and counseling, I discovered a new purpose & direction in my life. I decided to pursue & complete my Master's in Counseling through Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, which I completed in May 2020.
I completed my supervision and gained my License in Professional Counseling (LPC) in October 2022. I am very excited to get to know you, collaborate to work towards your counseling and life goals, and help you discover the person you long to be.
Life is an ongoing journey of trials and challenges that cannot be avoided. You are not alone on this journey. I am here to help guide you, find coping skills, and help you find healing and wholeness.
I utilize the following types of therapies: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Motivational Interviewing, and integrate them with a Christian, Biblical worldview. I work with teens, adults, and couples to deal with issues such as: communication, grief, identity, relationships, boundaries, marriage, anxiety, depression, and more.

MO License #2020036169
I am a counseling intern with a background in social work, including experience in crisis care. I have a passion for walking alongside individuals and families as they navigate life’s challenges.
My experience includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), with a focus on helping clients increase self-awareness, regulate emotions, and achieve treatment goals. My approach focuses on the whole person—mind, body, and spirit—creating a safe, supportive space where clients can process their experiences, gain clarity, and feel genuinely seen and heard.
I have been married for 33 years and am the mother of two grown children. Our family continues to grow, and I feel deeply grateful to welcome daughters-in-law into this meaningful new season of life. Over the years, I have experienced both deep joy and significant hardship, including the loss of loved ones, miscarriage, parenting challenges, supporting a child with learning differences, and navigating relational struggles. These experiences have shaped my perspective and deepened my compassion for others.
I believe that while life brings seasons of disappointment, rejection, stress, anxiety, depression, and grief, it also offers opportunities for growth, healing, peace, and renewed hope. In life’s darkest valleys, I have found that God’s Word faithfully provides light, direction, and hope. My goal is to create a safe and supportive space where clients can process their thoughts, gain clarity, and feel genuinely seen, heard, and understood.
For those who are open to it, I thoughtfully integrate faith into the counseling process, believing that God invites us to ask, seek, and knock, and faithfully opens the door so we may move forward with clarity and purpose. No matter the season or transition you are facing, I am committed to walking alongside you—offering evidence-based techniques, practical tools, and compassionate care to help bring light and direction to your journey.
